Users who access their mail accounts using IMAP clients such as Outlook, Thunderbird and mobile devices should configure their software. Mail client software settings are common for all domains. Do not forget to replace the email address or account ID settings on example settings (youremail@bilkent.edu.tr) with your own full email address.
Information for Webmail users:
Mail accounts can be accessed by using the web based webmail service as well.
Settings for Mail client software:
You have to set up an Incoming Mail (IMAP) server and an Outgoing Mail (SMTP, or ASMTP) server for proper configuration of your email client software.
There is a large variety of email client software such as Outlook, Thunderbird, iOS, Android mail software, etc. Unfortunately it is not possible to document screen shots for all these different software and their different versions which have quite different user interfaces and screens.
