BCC provides and coordinates the software licenses used by students, staff and departments.
Microsoft Products
The university provides free Microsoft “Office 365 Education” application licenses for Bilkent students and faculty. To get the license, send a message with your request to hotline [at] bilkent.edu.tr. You will be notified through email on how to proceed.
Departments requiring licenses for other Microsoft products should contact the BCC through hotline [at] bilkent.edu.tr. Projects requiring licenses for Microsoft products need to initiate a purchase from the project budget, through the Procurement Office. Note that department or project licenses are only for university use and not for the personal use of staff or students.

- Academic staff or postgraduate students who need access should send their requests (with details on how it will be used) to the BCC by inter-office correspondence, through their departments.
- SAS – Statistical software – data management, advanced analytics
- Solidworks – 3D CAD and modelling tool
- Education edition – 1000 concurrent users
- SPSS – Statistical tool

- Academic staff or postgraduate students who need access for academic purposes must apply to the BCC, through inter-office correspondence, indicating intended usage and required time frame.
